That's the answer most people are looking for, but the range matters: a 70kg residential Lifespan in a flat-floor garage finishes in 50 minutes; a 200kg commercial Sole F85 carried up two flights of internal stairs to a Greenslopes bedroom is closer to two hours. Here's what drives the difference and what we do in that window.
What's actually involved
Treadmills usually arrive in two boxes — the deck and the console arms. Our two-installer crew unboxes on a protected floor, attaches the console arms in the manufacturer's correct sequence, levels all four feet with a machinist's level (not a phone app — the difference matters), tensions and centres the belt, plugs in and runs a full 10-minute wet test at incline.
Where the time actually goes
- Unboxing + floor protection: 10–15 minutes
- Frame and console arm assembly: 25–40 minutes
- Belt levelling, tracking and tension: 10–15 minutes
- Console pairing, firmware update if required: 5–10 minutes
- Wet test under load: 10 minutes
- Walk-through and packaging removal: 5–10 minutes
What pushes the install over 90 minutes
- Internal stairs (we use stair-climber trolleys, but it adds 20–30 min)
- Apartment lift access with a bespoke schedule
- Upper-end commercial units (210–240kg)
- Integrated wiring for dedicated electrical circuits (we co-ordinate, not perform)
- Treadmills delivered with damaged consoles or missing parts (we flag and continue)
How to prep so the install runs to time
- Have the treadmill in the room or driveway before our two-hour arrival window opens.
- Clear a 2.5m × 1.5m footprint plus 1m of working space on each side.
- Confirm the power outlet within 1.5m of the final position (most treadmills have a 1.8m cord and shouldn't run on extension leads).
- If it's an upstairs install, take a photo of the tightest landing/turn and send it with your quote — we'll confirm clearance.
We don't repair treadmills. If yours arrived damaged or stops working post-install, the manufacturer's warranty handles it. Save your serial number and registration card.
Booking lead time and cost
Most Brisbane metro treadmill installs are booked within 3–7 days of you confirming the quote. Indicative price is $180–$280 (excl. GST) depending on brand, model weight and access. Multi-item discount applies if you bundle the treadmill with another install.

Yes — on request. Cardboard, foam and stretch wrap go to a recycling point. The freight pallet on commercial-grade units is also handled.
Most residential treadmills run on a standard 10A outlet. Commercial-grade (200kg+, 4hp+ motors) may need a 15A circuit — we'll flag this on the quote and co-ordinate with a licensed sparky if needed.
