1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Brisbane Gym Installs website and any new gym & fitness equipment installation work you engage us to perform. We do not perform repairs, relocations, or reassembly of used equipment without manufacturer instructions.
2. Quotes
Quotes are based on the information you provide and are valid for 30 days. Final pricing is confirmed after a site visit where relevant. Additional work outside the quoted scope will be quoted separately before it commences.
3. Bookings and cancellations
Bookings are confirmed via email or SMS. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the quoted job value to cover scheduling and travel commitments.
4. Site access and readiness
You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the installation site, the equipment is on-site (or delivery is co-ordinated), and any required pre-work (flooring, electrical, etc.) is complete. We will not commence work in unsafe conditions.
5. Our install guarantee (per Master Spec §11)
Brisbane Gym Installs guarantees that every installation is completed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation specifications and instructions for that piece of equipment. This means we use the correct fasteners, the correct assembly sequence, the correct torque values where specified, and we perform the manufacturer's recommended post-assembly checks before we leave. We do not warrant the equipment itself — the manufacturer's warranty covers that, and we recommend you register your product with them. If anything we have installed is later found not to comply with the manufacturer's installation specifications, we will return at no charge to correct it. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, relocation, or environmental factors after install.
6. Equipment warranty
Manufacturer warranties on the equipment itself remain with the manufacturer. We install to manufacturer specification and preserve manufacturer warranty paperwork where required.
7. Liability
We carry public liability insurance appropriate to the work performed (certificate of currency available on request). Our maximum liability for any single engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement, except where Australian Consumer Law guarantees a higher standard.
8. Payment terms
Home gym installs are payable on completion by card or bank transfer. Commercial engagements are invoiced with standard 14-day terms from completion unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest at the Reserve Bank cash rate + 5%.
9. Photos and referrals
We may photograph completed installations for our portfolio. Customer-identifying details (faces, addresses, logos) are excluded unless you consent in writing.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes will be heard in Queensland courts unless otherwise agreed.
